It is often used in cabinetmaking and paneling as a substitute for teak, which it resembles both in colour (light brown to deep golden-brown) and in grain.Naturally one of the most durable timbers because it contains a natural oil. It needs no preservatives (oiling or varnishing) outside. The Bloc collection is locally manufactured from Iroko that is extremely strong and resistant to decay. Iroko’s  unique colour range blend perfectly with any outdoor environment where harmony with nature is a key requirement.
